Massage Services

Pregnancy brings many physical changes and finding time to rest and unwind is important. Our pregnancy massage sessions with Marissa offer a calm, nurturing space, with each treatment tailored to your individual comfort and preferences.

Marissa uses supportive cushioning and adjusts positioning throughout your session, taking into consideration your stage of pregnancy and individual needs. Treatments include low allergen, natural massage oils, with optional essential oils available following discussion of individual preferences and suitability.

Please let us know of any allergies or sensitivities when booking so these can be taken into consideration.

To book, please call our team on 1300 982 951 or complete an online enquiry form and we will call you back.

Massages are currently only available in our Windsor clinic located in Brisbane.

Our pregnancy massage services are intended to provide a supportive, comfort focused experience and do not replace routine antenatal or postnatal medical care . While our massage therapist is a registered midwife, these sessions do not constitute diagnostic medical assessments and Marissa will not listen to baby’s heart rate or provide other midwifery services during the appointment. If you are experiencing a high-risk pregnancy, pre-eclampsia, or any unexpected medical complications, please ensure you have consulted your maternity care provider before booking.

If you experience any new or concerning pregnancy symptoms, please seek advice from your maternity care provider promptly rather than attending a massage appointment

Meet our massage therapist Marissa

Hi, I'm Marissa and I'm excited to be able to further support you through your pregnancy and postpartum with massage therapy.

I first studied massage in 2012 while I was pregnant with my first child. The experience of becoming a parent led me to pursue further studies in massage and prenatal yoga so that I could support and nurture women in the way that we all deserve to be.

After having my second child, I began my pregnancy massage business called Nurture Her Massage & Wellbeing, which I ran for five years before undertaking my midwifery degree.

Supporting normal labour physiology is very important to me, and I have attended around seven Spinning Babies trainings over the years to keep improving my understanding of how to support easier birth through antenatal preparation.
