What is Low Level Laser Therapy?
LLLT is gentle and non-invasive as it uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to stimulate cellular repair, reduce inflammation, and support the body’s natural healing process.
When is Low Level Laser Therapy used?
LLLT can be used in pregnancy and postpartum for reducing haemorrhoids. It also aids tissue regeneration, speeding up the healing of perineal trauma, caesarean wounds and swelling, without the use of heat, needles or medication.
Alongside with evidence-based lactation support, LLLT may help soothe nipple pain, and heal cracks and nipple trauma. It can also be used to reduce inflammation and assist with blocked ducts or mastitis.
Approximate treatment time
Nipple trauma: 2 - 3 mins per nipple
Blocked ducts: 3 - 8 minutes per affected area
Perineal trauma: 5 - 8 minutes per area
Caesarean wound: 7 - 10 minutes (depending on incision length)
Haemorrhoids: 2 - 5 minutes per area

Initial consultation: $50
Follow up consultation (5mins): $25 + $20 per additional 5 minutes
